ABSTRACT: Exploring the use of simulation-based learning in vocational training highlights the innovative application of virtual environments to enhance educational experiences and outcomes. This study aimed to assess how simulation-based learning improves vocational training programs, identify the specific skills and competencies developed, and measure student satisfaction with simulation-integrated training. A survey design was employed to collect detailed insights from participants using simulation-based learning in their vocational education. The sample size included 200 students from various vocational training programs. Purposive sampling was used to select participants with exposure to simulation-based learning. The case study was conducted at the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that simulation-based learning significantly improved students' hands-on skills, enhanced their understanding of real-time problem-solving, and provided interactive and engaging learning experiences. Students expressed high levels of satisfaction with the training, appreciating the practical and immersive approach. It was recommended that vocational training institutions expand their simulation-based learning curricula and continuously explore new applications to enhance educational outcomes.
